Maison Médot puts down its first roots on the Montagne de Reims Ouest.

Under the management of Jules Médot and his descendants, its vines are always cultivated with the greatest sensitivity.

Maison Médot is grafted onto Maison Lombard. Thierry Lombard acquires the vineyard and brand with a philosophy based on sustainable development and a commitment to the principles of Organic and Biodynamic viticulture.

In 2005, the vineyard’s management starts on a painstaking evolution towards cultivation methods that respect the environment and the terroir.

The Maison unveils its first Organic cuvee, elaborated from its partner winegrowers’ grapes.

Thomas Lombard joins the Maison, determined to obtain Organic certification for its vineyard.

Organic conversion of the Maison’s vineyard begins.

The Maison harvests its vineyard’s first certified organic grapes, in the context of a truly majestic vintage.

Médot Bio

The Médot Bio cuvee rejects consistency, accepting nature’s influence on its fruits and seeking to achieve the highest possible aptitude for its wine, which is always elaborated from a single year’s harvest.
